Not much change

Two years lots of changes

Wow, 2 years since I wrote.  Lots of changes.  KC is treating me right. Keller is GONE!!! Had a party over that.  Had gastric surgery, now particularly happy w results.  RA is getting worse. Spine is involved, lumbar spine badly. CAAS is basically a waiting game for the final results, unofficial word is very positive. Maybe that will get me a raise.  Working towards moving to the Pacific NW.  W my allergies it will take 5 years to go through allergy shots before I can without landing in the hospital.  I figure I'll be disabled by then.  Dx'd w narcolepsy last year, sleep apnea the year before that.  Up to 22 different meds now.  Weeeee!  Overall ok except health.  Friends going through troubling times, some physical, some mental.  EMS takes some of your sole forever, some deal with it, or at least bury it better, some don't. Some days I wonder which category I fall into.  Focus on the positive, let the rest go.  More later

Is this it?

As my feet, hands, shoulder back and hips continue to hurt I have to ask is this really the best it can be?? I'm on so many meds I rattle, but I continue to hurt, continue to lose function.  I worry how I will get by when it gets worse.  How I will take care of myself?  I don't know.   Today is a down day.  I sure hope tomorrow is better

Screwed again

Well at 20 min to 5 on what was to be my last day at this job/ position the boss comes in and tells me I have to stay in my current position for two more weeks. Don't know if I can handle it. Of course the stress has my back in knots. Sick of being penalized by my boss' lack of balls

New start

Well, today is a new year and Monday I start a new job in KC.  I think this will be a very good move for me. 

My RA is still not under control. I'm suppose to start Humira any day, just waiting for a final test result. I really hope it helps, the constant pain and gradual loss of function is really wearing on me. 

Not making sense

I'm really tired of corporate America.  Right now we are on a total spending freeze. It wasn't including medical supplies until today when my entire medical supply order was declined.  I was told to order again after 10/1.  I don't keep that much stuff on hand.  If it stands, it will start getting real interesting...

Meetings

Just had to suffer through another staff meeting. How the heck is someone's dog getting bit by a squirrel and the loooinnnngggg story related to it company business? No it did not occur at work. Arreggguuuughhh
